Solar Hydrogen – Photochemical hydrogen production from water
In nature, hydrogen is produced by means of chlorophyll and enzymes, with sunlight being the only energy source required. In the Solar Hydrogen project, a nature-like system is being developed that catalytically interacts with artificial sunlight and splits water into its components hydrogen and oxygen. Adapted mass spectrometric instruments are used to analyze the hydrogen produced.
„The project is co-funded by the province of Tyrol and the EFRE.“
