German translation of the V&F website is online
The contents of the V&F website are primarily provided in English. For our customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland we’ve translated most of the content into German. Every website user can easily switch between the English and the German content via the language selection drop box in the top-level navigation.
We are planning to add further languages to the V&F website in the future.
New V&F pricelist is available
The new V&F pricelist is available on the V&F website. This price list will be valid until the 31st of March 2016.
You can find the new price list here after successful login to the V&F website. As usual you will find the new pricelist in two different formats:
- PDF document
- Excel document to import the article and price data
Please note that several articles have been discontinued (800184 or 800185) without substitute. Other articles have been discontinued too, but there is a substitute article available:

If you need a picture for a certain article, then you can have a look at the Spares & consumables section on the V&F website.
Tremendous Xenon market price increase
The global demand for Xenon increased at a greater than expected rate in 2014. This is mainly due to a higher demand in the lightning industry (see Figure below).
This excess demand of Xenon leads to an increase in the market price of around 25%. Thus V&F has to increase the price for the article 800081 “Xenon gas cylinder 80l” by approximately 5% as of April 1, 2015.
Xenon gas cylinder 80l - V&F article number 800081
Report on Environmental monitoring in Sicily
One of our environmental customers in Sicily (Italy) - the ARPA Sicilia (Agenzia Regionale per la Protezione dell’Ambiente Sicilia) – reported an incident, where several residents complained about foul smells near an industrial area.
Six petrochemical companies in the area were requested to report on the incident. They responded to the request, and stated that their plants were in normal operation at the time and that no event could be attributed to the phenomenon reported.
After the resident's complaints, inspections were carried out and the data collected from interconnected networks, as well as that from V&F mass spectrometers. One mass spectrometer was in the province's mobile laboratory and a second was in the fixed detection station.
This report gives you an example about the positive results of our technology for the involved residents and how the ARPA Sicilia could identify the compounds and localize the origin of the air contamination.
